The flight from Dallas was 17 1/2 hours. There were seats for 310 and almost all of them were filled except for the seat between Marshall and me. It was wonderful to be able to stretch out a little. We are informed by a monitor on the back of the seat in front of us exactly where we are.
- How high we are: usually 30-40,000 feet
- The temperature outside the window: usually around 70 below zero.
There was a lot of white and cold looking scenery. I spent a little of the time with Woody Allen, Humphrey Bogart and two old guys in Iceland (there were a huge variety of free movies offered).
