This weekend I went to visit a friend of mine who lives in Iowa who I hadn’t seen since before the pandemic. It was so good to actually see each other. We shared about all of the struggles we had been through during the last year and a half, and the many ways that God had been with us and seen us through. We listened and laughed and prayed – and even though we were both tired, our time together gave us strength and energy.
Later that day I saw this mug – and it felt like God was joining in on our conversation. God was reminding me that even though there are troubles and difficulties everything will be ok, because God is with us.
God is faithful. God is with us. Everything will be ok.
